I just read on farmrail.com that they have purchased three GP38AC's. This is a regional railroad that took over the Weatherford-Eric, OK portion of the Rock Island line. I have been planning on modeling one of their GP20's after my Rock Lobster project and am now thrilled that they are getting bigger power. Now, who makes a GP38AC or how can I convert a 38-2 into one?

I have no idea what a GP38AC is so ANY help is appreciated.

Thanks. I just read online that the AC version only differs in it's AC alternator instead of a DC generator. I guess the outsides would look the same. I smell three new Athearn undecs coming!:D
