at the last few minutes of the auction the one click bid will work
if car X is $10.50 it will bid you to $11.00 but if bidder B has his max bid
set to $25.00 i think you have to keep clicking to beat his price
It doesn't ask you three different times if you are sure you want to bid, or if the bid amount is correct. You put in the amount and click bid 1 time and its done.

1 click bid does not ask for confirmation. It only asks for confirmation when you put in a max bid. If you had to confirm a 1 click bid you wouldn't have time to do that in the last 2 or 3 seconds. I've been overbid in the last second by 50 cents. If you are afraid of someone out bidding you at the end(3 seconds), then you have to hit 1 click bid 3 times instantly & hope no one hits the key between your hits. It's a heart pounding thing right at the end, especially if you are the only bidder on an item. There's usually no such thing as you as the only bidder. Someone will bid on the item at the last 2 or 3 seconds.
Sometimes I think it's the seller or his accomplice to keep you from getting something for his lowest starting price.
I hope I'm not counter answering someones question(does that sound right?) LOL
