E7 Coupler pockets

I have two Bachman E7s that used the old horn & Hook system of coupler, and I have been trying to get some Kadee couplers into them, but they do not work, since there is only a pin sticking down. What is the easiest way to put Kadees on this locomotive?

Also, a little off topic, has there ever been, or ever will be a F59PH locomotive in HO?

I have no idea of how the couplers are mounted on the E7's as Kadee doesn't list an E7 conversion for Bachmann. You can have a look at the conversion for the Bachmann F9, maybe it's close enough

John, it should be very close to the PDF Willis posted if not identical. I did a conversion to one of the older Bachmann E-7's several years ago and, to my memory, it was exactly the same - shave off the pin and sides and then mount the #37 Kadee just as it's shown in the drawing.

Yes, Kaslo made resin shells. I have yet to locate 2 for myself.
