I find it interesting how housing size and style has changed through the years. This is advertised as large economy style. The rooms are so small, it has such a linear floor plan, and the design is so enclosed.I just located an article I had on the Contemporary Home from a magazine at that time.

The Bachmann contemporary house was my dream home since early childhood. It's amazing to find out that a real plan for that house actually existed. Somewhat reminicent of a Frank Loyd Wright Usonian. , rectangular fireplace/chimmeys , partially enclosed decks ,open floor plan, lots of windows .
