Started on a mountain yesterday, kinda messy, but fun. No coloring yet, obivously, but will be experimenting with that before long.

That looks awesome! I'm going to be doing the same thing on my new layout soon, probably not as extravagant though...

Can you post some steps for this, materials, etc. I don't know where to start.

Do you make it so that you can remove it for access to the track?

I used foam pieces for tunnel supports, crumpled up newspaper, taped down, for shape, then strong paper towels dipped in plaster paris to coat both sides, then lay it down and kinda smooth out. Easy, but messy. Hopefully I can make the back side so it will pull away for track access. That will be an experiment:confused:.
