When you buy an undecorated shell, does the window glass & railings & accessories come w/it?

All depends in the "N"ormal scale it does also depends on the vendor. I know a long time ago Rail something sold the shells in one kit and the detail parts in an other now that's makerting

Larry, if you're buying an undecorated shell from the manufacturer, it will usually have all the details from the frame up including handrails and window glass if the powered model has such details. There were companies like Front Range that sold only shells and, if you're buying from a private party, all bets are off, so make sure you know what's included.

If your buying just an undecorated shell, it most likely will not come with any other parts. If you buy an undec unit though, you should get everything that would make it onto a proto copy.
Sorry, thats just the way most of the companies work. Most modellers dont want the windows, railings, and so forth. If you want a shortcut, get a dummy unit then, so you will get all the parts also.
But, if your like me and get a dummy unit to make a good powered unit, then you'll have a dummy chassis with notthing on it, and you wont be happy till you get another shell for it, lol.
