Diesel sanding project done

My diesel sanding project is done. I just need to set every thing in place, level it all up and glue all the pipes together. Now the inspection pit has to get done.

I scratch built it. I put a diesel compressor inside although it's not visible in the photo.

Your not retired are you Brakie? I think I'm going next year. I'll have to contact the railroad retirement board. Any thing I should know?

Hi Conrail92,

It wasn't all that creative. They used one in Brewster, NY and MRC had a article on three different railroads that used damaged or old covered hoppers. The photo contest if what is what got this project going.
