So, i picked up my new Rivarossi 4-8-8-2 today. While i was there, my Dad and I decided to pick up some other stuff.

Wow, that's quite a bit of stuff there. What kind of scene will it be going into?
i have layout ideas, but i haven't even started a display. Still trying to find a spot for a decent display. I'm hoping to attack a 5x10 as my trainer display. I did the 4x8 thing before.
The steamers, i dunno, i have always wanted a coal mine scene so perhaps that will get in there some how. I want to do a bit more research on the uses of these locos to see what i can think of.

as of now its my fav diesel. I can't believe how quiet and smooth it is. And you can make it crawl, almost like its stopped but its still moving. I love it. Glad i bought it.
went to a train show today in Picton Ontario and did some more shopping.
Just bought 2 things for myself.. bought my dad a few items as well.
A 4427 High side covered hopper and a P.F.E mechanical reefer.
