You can find out everything you need to know at http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/index.php?opt=1. I have one and it's main drawback is the inabilitity to read or set CV's and it only has 10 function commands available. It is fine for a small layout that only runs two or three engines at a time. It will work with amost all decoders and decoder/soundcards.
