Hey fellas. Asside from model railroading/fanning I'm a school bus enthusiast

weird right? Anyway I found a place for a bus garage on my layout and I've been personalizing some HO herpa/con-cor and boley school buses. I've been wanting to letter these buses for a local school district but I'm not sure on what size of decals I can use. Are there even any plain black lettering decal sheets out there? Thanks
-Jeff
Micro scale makes black lettering sets that have several different sizes of letters on them. You'd have to cut out individual letters and apply them one by one, a big pain, but doable.
If you've got a computer and printer, it would be easiest to make your own. If you lay the bus on a flatbed scanner you can scan it into the computer and create the proper size lettering, then print it out on clear decal paper. Seal the printed decal with clear coat and then cutout and apply to the model.
As an alternative, Dymo has a labeler that you can get for about $30 that prints black on transparent tape in about five different size letters. The tape is pretty thin and I suspect it would look fine on the flat surface of a school bus.
