Today I bought my first dcc system a Command 2000. I am only programing to run two locos right now and atlas silver series SD35 and a bachmann spectrum 44 ton switcher. I program like the instructions says, the headlight blinks and beeps for five seconds saying it is programed then when I put the other "programmed" train on the track they both still run on throttle one. Anyone know what is wrong? thanks

Mike, I'm not sure that I understand correctly as to what the symptoms are, but did you program a different address for each one? The default setting is always 03 and you have to change that...usually to the engine number.

Sorry about the wordiness. With the Command 2000 you can only program ten locos so making it the engines number is not an option. I wanted to program them to work on throttle two and three (the Switcher had been numbered 44 by old owner) but Its like the programing didnt take and they still only went on throttle one which is for dc engines.

Mike, I am not familiar with the Command 2000, but I am pretty sure someone on here is. Since the response has been slow, you may want to start another thread with a different subject name. "DCC Problem" is very general and naming it something like "Command 2000 Problem" may help get more people looking. Otherwise, you can contact your LHS or the manufacturer.;) :)

Mike throttle one is not for DC engines, throttle ten is. I never had this problem before though. You should contact your manufacturer.
