Just received my first order from them. All I can say is wow. Super fast shipping and packed well. I ordered my stuff on Saturday and I got it today. They even sent along a $5.00 coupon. Not to mention they were the lowest price!

I think I may have found a new place to buy from. :D

i just place a order with them about a week ago to and got my stuff.

Very nicely packed and very quick responces.

At first i had my order all ready to go just needed to confim payment, but i canceled because i decided to wait till the next day to see if i was gonna need a few more items.

Well shortly after i canceled i got an email from them asking if something was wrong since my order was canceled.

Im thinking wow. so needless to say id deal with them again any day!!

Just jumped of the pier and took the plunge. I just ordered the Aerotrain......looks like peanut butter sandwiches for supper for a while.

Bob, that Areotrain is a nice piece of railroading history. It'll be worth the PB&J sandwiches for a while. :)

I have placed several orders with DMW and all have come fast and well packed. The owner is involved with the day to day operations and really knows model trains. It's one of my top five places to order on-line.

Jim, looks as though the Aerotrain may be a "shelf" train along with some other "bastard" roads that I have, the Zephyr, Crescent, and others. I may bring it on the layout from time to time, but it will, most probably, join some of my other passenger trains on display. Just doesn't really fit my layout or roads.

And it's not the cost of the train that will cause me to be eating PB&J's. The better half is upset......again. She thinks the train is "ugly".

Oh, well, I will at least have the train, and get the joy of "making up".

Bob, the cool thing about the Aerotrain is that it toured many of the railroads across the country and did regular service on the Pennsy, UP, NYC, Rock Island, and Santa Fe for periods of time between 1956 and 1960. It was a disaster for GM, which tried to use standard bus bodies for passenger cars, but it went right along with the era when it came to styling. Looking back from our vantage point of 50 years, the Aerotrain looks pretty silly, but I remember thinking, as a kid, that it looked pretty neat. The rumor I've always heard is that the designer of the 1957 Caddy was also the guy that designed the Aerotrain nose.
