Cutting brass?

Anyone have experince cutting brass? I have an overland brass antenna stand that I'd like to chop the 2 stock legs off to make the stand a little taller, does anyone have any ideas on how I can cut the legs off?

I guess one has to wonder obout the right tool for the job. Shim brass, well you can cut it with sissors, then for wire size brass stock, a file, saws, diagonal cutters would work good, but in this case the motor tool leaves a neater cut. Then theres the thick stuff, like some cast detail pieces which are too large for what I want to do, they are large and are very hard, so in this case I find a 3" to 5" dia. angle grinder the best tool for the job. (Gloves are required here)
Quality, thickness and shape have a lot of bearing on what to use. Actually for all brass working, a motor tool with attachments is hard to beat. Just my thoughts, for what theyre worth
