Curved benchwork

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

I have Westcott's book on benchwork, but it has nothing on how to curve benchwork unless I've missed it (and I've had this book since before Linn died).

Specifically, I want to curve my benchwork ends, I prefer the look to square. The book says not to pinwheel the joists, but I can't figure out any other way to do it.

Imagine if you laid it all out with square ends. Now, just draw a curve around the ends and cut the joists (which are square) where ever they hit the curve.
