Cure For Clear Plastic Window Yellowing?

Hello all,

Question - is there a way to cure, or at least partially clear up, the "yellowing" that seems to occur on older, clear plastic window glazing?
I'm thinking probably not, but don't know if I've ever seen this subject discussed before. Just curious if anyone might have any ideas about this.

Apparently there MIGHT be, based on some quick, preliminary searching I did online the other day when I had a few minutes to spare. I'll do some more in-depth searching when I get some extra time available.

use real glass, it doesn't yellow, good for the flat stuff is microscope slide cover glass, it's really thin and easily cut with a carbide scriber

Take out the old and use something like Micro Kristal Klear or equivilent.

I'd just replace the old glazing with new if possible.
