Couplers?

I am going to n cale. I have my first to engines that are atlas. I thing they have accumate couplers. What is the most popular couplers now. Will the accumated hook up to different couplers such as newer exactrail cars and athearn?

There are only really 2 styles of couplers...the old style Rapidos are style #1.......pretty much everything else is style #2. There are some versions that work better than others, but MTL couplers are the "original" and still the most popular. Other versions are Accumates, unimates, McHenry's......... They all will couple together.

In a word no, they look good in the yard is about it. Low profile is the ticket.

Can i replace them with any style? Suck as accumate or mchenry.

I meant any brand of trucks? I know accumate all couplers, I don't know if they make trucks.

I bought 5 car deluxe twin stack. Does anybody no what kind of trucks are factory intall on deluxe inovations? And if I could replace them with the accumate truck and coupler set? Thanks.
