Coupler help with Riverossi U30C

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Rivarossi Seaboard Coast line U30C. Tonight I converted it to Knuckle couplers, but they sit too low. A good eighth of an inch below the couplers of my rolling stock and other locos. Any way to fix this. I really dont want to cut into the body (theres no coupler box, the couplers screw right into the frame) but I will if I have to. Thanks!

What you need is underset couplers. They raise the height of the knuckle.

Thanks. I had read up on those, but even with offset shanks, I dont think it will raise it enough to couple well. I'll swing by the LHS later though and pick up a couple sets and give it a shot.
