Control Panel

I don't know if this is under the right heading but I was wondering what you guys are using for control panel material: 1/8", 3/16" or 1/4" acrylic or what......?

Please shed some incite, thanks!

Masonite is a good product and mouting push buttons is easy because of the thinkness. Also, acrylic. I had a control panel on the previous layout until I converted to DCC. Now I just mount the turnout controls in the layout surface near the turnouts and build the scenery up around it.

I use 1/8" Masonite (hardboard), my printed track plan, then 1/16" clear (plastic, plexi-glass, whatever). A screw in each corner to hold it together.
