Monday, I had a chance spotting of CPKC intermodal freight….

So when I got home, I started a few containers.. super dilute Tamiya Flat White, Sienna and Sepia Micron Pens, Dollar Store acrylic Raw Umber and Burnt Sienna, Winsor & Newton Raw Umber wash, Tamiya grime mix, and Tamiya Clear Flat to Finish..
Maybe an hour and 15 minutes total time on the Hanjin including trying to figure out ”Why is my airbrush not spraying?”

Those turned out exceptional!

Hard to tell they are a model!
Agreed. They look thoroughly worn for the weather. Perhaps even rust dripped (onto) from the aging container above. Which is about par for the course, I think. I note, too, that the roof bears evidence of the drip, and not just the side(s)? And at both ends (the left being the more subtle of the two, but still there).

The drip along the bottom angle to the left and to the bottom center right under to top drip down also works. The upward splashes and grime from the bottom angle/rail. Yeah.

No...angle or channel, I do think--the grime and rust kick right back up.
