Kato shell and drive with Kaslo cab and the usual assortment of MBE, DW, DA and scratchbuilt detail parts. Note the modified shock absorber arrangement and the modified air tank brackets.

As a side note- Why do some of these series of CN units have Conrail-style numbers in the numberboards? Did Conrail paint them?
 


The "teardrop" refers to the fact that the windshields are uniquely shaped. They slope down at the outer bottom edges, making the GE appear "tearful."
