Changes at Strasburg Railroad

Yesterday I took my son to the strasburg RR. It was a beautiful day and the parking lot was full. It's been a little while since I've been there but it's always a great place to return to.

There are a couple of things that have changed as well as work in progress. I'll put a couple of them in threads with pictures but the major one's I saw are:

1. An additional team track was added and more commercial use is present since the population in the area has grown.

2. A building project is on-going in the museum that takes away from the visit, although is probably necessary.

3. Museum trains have been shifted around some to shake things up as well as additions.

4. The Amish neighbors seem to be interacting with the public more.

5. Track work is on-going including tie replacement and ballasting.

6. Old number 90 looks freshly overhauled and painted.

Here's a link to my photobucket album of the day.
