Hello
Anyone on this forum have pictures from Modesto/Oakdale/Turlock etc?
Thankyou´from Sweden

Are you modeling the M&ET (Modesto & Empire Traction Company)?
I have plans to model this shortline in the near future, in fact i spent a couple months coming up with a plan via Free-Mo Modules that would occupy a space of 40x30' space if they were all set up at once. Of coarse, i would need a massive room for this, and i would only be setting up a few modules at a time and running them....
Made my plans using Google Earth, Live Maps, and Google Maps Street View to basically copy sections of the M&ET that would be fun to model. My plan consist of over 34 modules.
One of these days ill be needing to make a early morning day trip down to Modesto (about a 4 hour drive for me to get there) and spend the day down there snapping pics of the areas i wanna model for reference pics for when i actually start modeling. Ive heard that the guys on the M&ET are very friendly and welcome people taking pics of there operations as long as you stay out of their way obviously lol

Hi Bob
Yes, we're building parts of 9th st and parts of M+ET on 10 modules.
Best regards
