Anyone know where I can get a picture of an early CNJ box car with the early paint scheme before the Statue of Liberty herald?
Many Thanks....Jerry

This is an outside braced CNJ boxcar in MOW service. The paint scheme is pretty typical of the 20's, just CNJ reporting marks. The color was boxcar red.

This Westerfield model boxcar has the paint scheme used in the late 30's, before the herald was added to new steel box cars.

Jerry while I was looking for cars yesterday at the 4 full buildings Springfield . Mass show. I wanted to see if any dealers had your NJC boxcar. I found one car with the NJC Statue of Liberty herald. It wasn’t a boxcar though. It was a new gondola that wasn’t into production yet. I asked if he was going to do a boxcar and he said no. So I didn’t ask for his card.
