cats and model trains

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. It's funny how cats will plop down on anything they know you're using or looking at. All you need to do is toss a magazine on the bed, carpet or coffee table and soon they will be on top of it.

So true. Its like they want you try and get mad, but they know they are just to dam cute to get mad at that you start loving them anyway.

Like right now, im on the computer and my cat, Charles Xavier has to lay on me and make me uncomfortable for him to be comfortable. But when i get back to working on the model he'll be on the table and so willthe orange one getting in the way. The wifes cat doesn't bother anyone at all.

yep, my "dumb blond" really likes to find a puddle of foam shavings or whatever dust and rubble i might have during work, sit right in the middle of it, and then go into wifes bed bringing bunch of that junk with her to wives great dismay.
who on earth said cats are cleanness loving animals?

tank, i hear ya on that. our giant ginger will walk under the christmas tree and attract all the needles then go into the tub and stair at the shower head waiting for drips. Then in the morning you'll find dozens if not hundreds of needles in the shower.

One thing I noticed about some cats is how they can silently jump up on a bookcase, thread their way in and around dozens of little tightly bunched and fragile figurines (and other wife's treasures) but never topple over a one of them. They have crafted 'silent & sneaky' to a fine art form.

Not my cat. He jumps on the tables and knocks over everything.

I plan to keep a spritz bottle in the train room to keep him off the tracks... hopefully.

I should try and get my cat to watch the trains see what it does. It will probably just pounce on it...maybe it wouldnt be such a good idea.
