Yet another help question from me LOL. Im just full of questions today. I suppose sitting here with a migrane dont help any so im trying to do stuff to distract me till the meds kick in.

Ok Down to 1 frame to figure out.

appears to be RTR line looks like this frame would be held to the shell bu the couplers, as it dont have the 4 tabs or the 4 slots by the motor., ill add a top vew of the frame as soon as photobucket is back up.

the last one is longer then a u boat frame. thats what i thought it was also.
The fuel tank and the truck sideframes tell me that's some kind of 2nd-generation 'SD' frame. With the metal headlight bracket all the way forward like it is, I'd guess it was either an SD45 or a tunnel motor.

The trucks are funky though, they look nothing like any EMD truck I've seen. Unless I've gotten rusty.

Mike, here's my guesses.

1st one, SD38/40 frame
2nd one, GP60 frame
3rd one, SD9 frame
4th one, no idea there.

We have a winner!!!!!.

after searching through i dont know how many engine parts sheets i finaally came across one that had the part # listed.

It was close to an F45 like some thought so close that its an FP45. YAAAAY

the newer GP60M's and B's. I have 6 sitting right here. Completely smooth and narrower tank.

not sure if its that either because the fuel tank on this frame is completely smooth.

to where the gp50/60 isnt hmm i may have to send a picture to athearn and see if they can help.
