There are two differences. The blended is a lighter green than their evergreen green, which is quite dark. The blended is fairly fine when it goes down. The coarse turf is almost grain of sugar sized...about two to three times the size of the average blended turf particle.
In the image below, the stuff in the foreground is coarse turf, and is light green. The blended is a darker green and much finer.
Hi Gerry: Crandell's explanation and photo is an excellent example of those products. I would only add that Woodland Scenics has two colors of blended turf, green and brown. And, many colors of coarse turf. Here's another example.
