Though I prefer train travel, I have made some trips by intercity bus, and occasionally I still do. But I do like buses, and plan to have a bus section on my rail museum side layout. I’m mostly buying in 1:87 for this reason. For now, my bus collection is on display in my living room.

Some of these models have a personal travel story. I rode a M-B Travego on a recent trip to Europe. The GM PD4107 “Buffalo” was my ride across the US in 1969. The local bus line had a Flxible Clipper, one of my favorites.

For the near term, I plan to add a Golden Eagle, a Van Hool, a Sultana SP, and a Greyhound PD4104 (which I rode often in the ‘70s).

I always liked those busses with the raised portion a third of the way back. I also like a lot of the Euro busses. I see a lot of those in my area of the hobby.

Ignoring my granddaughter putting passengers ON the train. the buses are all I have travelled on.

The red double decker was to Earlsheaton and Dewsbury. The blue and cream ones are Samuel (Sammy) Ledgard. I travelled to Castleford and Otley on those.

The West Yorkshire bus was missing from ones I travelled on to Harrogate and Knaresborough. Rapido made one. Rather expensive, but a must have.
