I want to add feeders around my approx. 40' of track and I am wondering what is a good gauge wire to use. Should I go bigger than 16 gauge for the bus wire and 18 gauge for the feeders? Thanks.

Sounds good to me. I used 12 gauge on the bus and 18 on the feeders, and 12 was overkill.

Thanks. Another question, can the bus wire just dead end end at the last feeder position or should it tie in to where it started, to make a loop I guess you would call it?

Paul O.

Don't make a loop. Just cut the wire and put a wire nut or some electrical tape on the end.
