I am not English I in Belgium so my grammer might be bad but. I have recently got a Bachman Gp40 CSXt and I dropped it like a comple idiot. The latter to get to the cab is broken and is barely dangling I need to know what to do help!
You need to contact Bachmann Europe and see if they have spare parts . The other option is to try to order a replacement shell from Bachmann US. It looks like the estore has plenty of stock of various road names including CSX 6211 and the price is reasonable $23 US. https://estore.bachmanntrains.com/i...t=20a&page=6&zenid=oqj4uvttov16k0u9tkdffibip0
It’s hard to tell by that picture but maybe a good plastic glue could fix it?
That is unless the damage is extensive, can’t see if there’s a missing piece or not.
The new shell idea isn’t a bad way to go either.
Let us know how it goes!
The price of the shell isn't bad it's the shipping that would hurt. Like Rico said try repairing it and in the meantime see if you can come across a replacement shell in case it doesn't work out.
A form of canopy glue would work great since I used it to repair stirrups from box cars. I apply it using a toothpick to each end and let it set up a few minutes and then attach the parts together. Let it dry for at least 24 hours and use caution when working around the repaired part.
We all have dropped a new car or locomotive at some point in our hobby years.
