Bridge on the River Kwai _ a static display.

ended up hiring a car to drive us south to a hot tourist spot not too far from Bangkok that features a floating market. Along the way we were skirting the rr tracks that fed that river crossing area. There we stopped by a well know falls that still had a portion of the tracks AND another loco on display,..

@Derailed, I didn't want to hi-jack your subject thread with my material, but I thought if I waited till you had presented most of your work, then my material would help keep the subject alive, .....as well as be interesting to some.

I thought this was interesting,.....adapting a military truck to travel the tracks.
