Not sure if you're asking abut making brick walls from scratch or what. One of the techniques that several of the guys here have used is to get some styrene sheet or thin basswood and use printed patterns glued on the surface. You can find a lot of brick and stone patterns at http://www.cgtextures.com/. Just scale the brick to the size you need on your computer, print it out, and use something like spray adhesive or rubber glue to glue the pattern to the material. Of course, you can also get sheet stryrene that already has the brick pattern embossed on the surface from a hobby shop or online.

Gee Hands...I thought your wooden "brick" wall looked great!

There is a company making individual "bricks" for modeling. I can't remember the web site now, but someone will post it here.

I'm building a kit now that has miniature bricks that are actually brick.

Thanks Rotor, yeah I've thought about making individual bricks out of wood, I haven't thought much about making them out of brick :P

Hey Jim, I printed off a couple different styles of brick, do you by any chance know how to get rid of the gloos?

Like Rotor said, you just need to coat the paper with a matte spray. A cheap way to do this for large jobs like brick walls is pick up a can of Krylon Clear Matte Finish next time you're at WalMart. It's only about $4 for a big can and way cheaper than the model coatings like Floquil's Dull-Cote.
