Between my HO and my O-Scale 2-Rail Layouts, my Slot Car Race Course sure was fun!

We had some real competition on this course, and it was fun to run solo too!
(The course also ran 15 feet off to the right.) The cars were 1/32 scale.

I never had the large slot cars. All mine where the model motoring type. Had a tiny layout compared to yours where three of us would play. Two would run the cars until the train got them at a grade crossing. Then the wrecked car driver would become the locomotive driver.

Now I have the 1/32 slotless type. It is really fun running 4-8 cars at a time.

I'd like to run on that course, looks like a lot of fun. My extent of slot car racing goes WAY back to 1965-66 with an HO (I believe), Loop the loop race car set. One of the race cars you could set at the base of the loop and punch it, around the loop it would go......wore that set out.....

All the kids on my block had the same 1/32 cars and track Hal, we'd get everyone’s sets together and create the biggest race track ever!
We used to take turns racing for nickels and one kid from a block over would always clean up with his 1/32 mustang until we discovered he had a second pin in the rear of the car to keep him from swerving on the curves.
I believe to this day he walks with a limp! 😝
