Hi,

My apologies if this is a silly question but throughout all of my research I've never found an answer. I'm looking to get into the hobby with some N scale Kato Unitrack. I hate the look of the Kato powerpack so I want to buy the MRC 1370 instead but I get the impression Unitrack uses it's own special power connectors. Will the MRC 1370 connect to the Kato feeder rail? If not, is there an adapter or is soldering required? Thanks in advance for any information.

Just cut off the wire behind the Kato plug and use some butt connectors to attach enough additional wire to get to your power pack. My own preference would be to solder the wires directly to the outside web of the rail.
