Bashing a 4-6-0 Mantua

Trying to change a Mantua 4-6-0 Rogers into the Sierra railroad #3. Have the tender about done and ready for some paint. Waiting on parts for the engine.

Made a little more progress on the engine and still waiting on more parts to arrive as they were out of stock and had to re-order from another supplier. Most of the parts are from Cal-Scale and Precision scale, the ladder and coupler lift bar on the tender I scratch built from brass sheet and brass wire. The ladder on the tender has moved from side to side over the years on the real engine so don't exactly know what side it should be on, the re-worked engine pictures show it on the left and older pictures show it on the right?

Rebuilt the crosshead and guides aleast to look a little closer to the original, should be 4 guides per side but 2 will work. Used square brass stock 1/16" and brass sheet and soldered all together. The first picture shows what came with the engine then the original and then my results.

A little closer to being finished, almost have all the parts installed then off for some lettering and numbers.
