Back in the day, my Grandfather was a trolley driver. Going through some boxes of my Mom's stuff this afternoon and I found this little treasure:

312 pages, not including any of the fold out schematics that are included.

I've got to get this to an Historical Society somewhere.

Cool Find and I am glad you know the importance of preserving this piece of history. We found my grandmother's shipyard handbook and many company photos from her Rosie the Riveter days in Richmond CA. My sister was able to donate to the museum there.

I humbly suggest the Western Railway Museum where streetcars and trolleys are actively being preserved, restored and ran under the catenary for a couple of miles. It's a nice daytrip and my sister (mentioned above) uses their library quite a bit researching a Southern Pacific branch line that ran past our house (before we were born).
