Bachmann cylindrical hopper bash

Bachmann cylindrical hopper bash-ready for paint

I wanted to do one of these for a long time. Now that I'm 71, I figured it's now or never. I cut every thing off the car I could, including the walk and hatch covers. They are molded into the body, so that's a real chore. After you remove them, you're left with two body parts. I used the top from a IM cylindrical hopper to fill in the blank. Anyway, there are lots of in progress photos that will explain what I've done so far. Thanks for looking.

Regards, Bobby

Looks real fine, a lot of work, but it will probably be worth it in the end.

Can't wait to see this one painted Bobby! I know it's not your favorite part of the process, but it's going to look very good when it's done! (though part of me also thinks it's a shame to hide all of that nice modeling...)
