New model railroader here
I got this old Bachman N Scale steam locomotive and it will not run. I have taken it apart and the motor works, but I can not get it to run on the track.

It looks as it all the wiring is there, but then I have no idea what is suppose to be there.:confused:

Does anyone know where I can get a schematic for this engine? Are they available on the internet somewhere to download? Any help would be appreciated...:D
 
Contact Bachmann's customer service by phone or e-mail. They have a lifetime warranty and they can either fix it or give you whatever the most comparable engine in production today.
 
Thanks Jim, but I figured it out late last night. It is one of those locomotives that needs to have a tender with electrical contacts to make the connection to the motor. Once I figured that out it ran kind of slow but it did run.
