Atlas turnouts

Hey guys I have some older atlas #6 turnouts and I was wondering if I need to do anything to these for a DCC setup?? Or will they work as is?? Thanks Nick.

How old are they Nick? They should work fine with DCC, I don't think Atlas ever made any power-routing turnouts, IIRC.

Well some of them I was told are couple years old, bought by a guy who never built his layout and never used them. That's good to know Ken thanks.

That's the most important thing IMHO. All of the problems I've ever had with any Atlas turnouts were on ones that I had "recycled" from earlier layouts, I suppose the stress they undergo while being pulled-off an old layout surface is enough to make their rails get slightly out-of-guage...?
