Atlas MP15 DOA - Help!

I just bought a new Atlas MP15 Gold Series HO yesterday. Ran it today for the first time. The first 5 minutes it was very noisy unlike any of my other 5 Gold Series units. But it cleared up and ran fine for the next 2 hours. Then it suddenly stopped. It was doing about 15 scale MPH and stopped. I have not been able to revive it. I've had it all apart, tested continuity on the connectors/trucks for power, tried address 03 as well as the one I programmed it to (32). Tried to reprogram it to another address. Nothing.. At one point I set it on the track and it started making engine idle sounds but I can't even get that to happen again. All of my other locotives are doing fine on the layout so its definitely something going on with this new MP15. Thoughts?

Since it is a new engine, take it back to the seller - or return it to Atlas with a proof of purchase. Their warranty is 90 days.

QSI decoders are like that. Send it back and hope that they replace it with a Q1A
