Atlas Code 83 Availablity

Does anyone know when Atlas Code 83 track will be available again? I am trying to get started on my layout and can't seem to find any track anywhere.

About the best answer that won't come from Atlas directly is, "Soon!"

They posted three months ago that they were finalizing the first shipment and that it would be available near Christmas. I would expect an announcement of widespread availability in the new year, maybe February.

My supplier list all of the HO Code 83 True Track items Atl 450 to Atl 488 as being available!

Last word I got directly from Atlas about three weeks ago was that Code 83 products would start hitting there shelves 2/13. Code 100 was coming first and I have heard that it is happening now.

The information I posted above was from my Distributors site which showed they have current stock of Atlas [Atl] Code 83 True Track in stock at present in all the various items.

I'll make interested individuals a good deal price wise.
