Athearn rtr dash 9 Availibilty

Have the athearn RTR Dash 9 norfolk southern horsehead scheme 2006 production, Released yet? If not any pacific date been set. And another question is there a difference between the 04 and 06 production?
 
Not sure. I'd assume so, as I thought the only Dash9's left were the two BNSF New Image ones, but I could be wrong. I THINK the only difference may be quick plugs, but what do I know!

No..The NS Dash 9s will be out in mid November.
Heres the list of goodies straight from Athearn..

Fully assembled and ready to operate
Prototypically accurate horns
New window castings
Factory installed Celcon handrails
Equipped with Quick Plug DCC technology
Next-generation drive mechanism with hex drive lines
Directional headlights
Machined RP25 profile metal wheels
Magnetically operated knuckle couplers


Now if you are detail wise then you already know the headlights on the NS units SHOULD be mounted on the cab and not the nose.
 
What does the 2004 version have when it comes to dcc ready? Do they not have quick plug? because the 2004 versio here says it does http://www.wholesaletrains.com/Detail.asp?Scale=HO&Item=athc44&ID=200435645
