Turns out Jason Shron isn't the only guy with a real train in his basement--Dr. Nick Muff of Washington State has an F7 cab and a mock up of a passenger car in his basement and layout room.

That is just too cool... Damn! I need some affordable real-estate.
Impressive, I think his layout and F-7 cab was featured in Model railroader in the 80's or 90's.
I does take up alot of real estate you could be using for a layout though.
If I'm recalling right, it was more recent than that - either I was leafing through some back issues recently or the article was around 3-5 years ago.
I think its been featured several times.
Its featured in the August 2011 issue of Model Railroad Hobbyist.
