I have come to the conclusion that to do this model RR fun I will need an airbrush. My question is I already have a small 5 gal 3hp garage aircompresser. How low would I have to take the psi down to for an airbrush? I would get a regulater and dryer. The airbrush itself is not that expensive its the compresser that is costly.
It would depend on the type of paint that you are using. I've painted with the pressure as low as 10psi, and as high as 50psi. Normally I do most of my work at 20psi.
