That train sounded like it had an ex-SP air horn. I heard many of those when I railfanned at Tehacheppi - sure brings back some memories!

Josh, it looks like a combination of railroad police and the locals. I think it's kind of cool that they recognized the last train on the line that way, almost like escorting a funeral procession. I'll also bet there were some VIP's on that train so they wanted a good show.

If you don't mind me saying so, that horn sucks as much as a Dyson vacuum...

New Cast P5...Looks nice, but sounds like (*&#@). Now, stick a new Micro Precision K5LLB on there, a NEW new cast P5, with re-tuned bells, or even a plain jane K5LA, and you'll have something going for you.

Nothing personally against the NC P5, though, as I own one . Just sounds crappy!

I closed out 2009 with train horn vs car horn for my friends that were railfanning with me New Year's Eve.I blew the horn in my Grand Prix as the train was blowing.
