AHM/LIMA 2-6-4 Steam loco

Should we assume that AHM / LIMA based both their 2-6-4 on this 1:1 model? The exception would be the UNITED STATES of AMERICA version due to the loco shell.

Ha! I always thought it was based on the Lionel model of that same (fairly strange) wheel arrangement. :)
