Not sure if anyone does this with their cars and trucks so I took a few shots of how simple it is. I used the Athern B model Macks but the R models will be just as easy. next will be a few trailers with the fiber optics.

these were easy to do.
First I removed the cab to glue a small 12v bulb where the engine would be.
then add some shelds to keep the light from reflecting under the truck.
put the cab back on with the wires exiting to the rear of the cab. I will be running the wires into the nose of the trailer as they will look like the air lines for the trailer brakes. Power will come from a batt pack in the trailer or wired with a plug to the layout wires hidden under the frame.

Very good idea, Trent. Now you just need to find a way to do the clearance lights and you'll be all set. :)

LOL I dont think even my young eyes could see to do that LOL. I was thinking that I could install a small fiberoptic to the front parking lights just below the headlights. just put a dab of transparent oarnge on the tip or leave them clear just like mack delivered them. I think the trailer lights will add a nice touch and you wont even notice the missing cab lights? we will see?

heres a few shots of the trailer lights. it has a single bulb with fiber optics. The end of the trailer has red and the sides/front are amber. I simply put a touch of amber or red on the fiberoptic ends to get the color.
