A P&W patch

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

When and if I ever get to build a layout it will be a fictional Providence and Worcester line which recently bought BNSF. Yeah, ok VERY fictional. Any way, here is what I thought patch work would look like on a U28B. Would this be an accurate way the P&W would do something like this? Instead of the unit number on the side, it is moved to under the cab as is all P&W engines and the road name on the side. Would they go through all the trouble of painting over the big numbers? My guess is they would not have the green paint. But, maybe they would at the BN facilities (thinking to my self). This is my first try at being creative.

What are your thoughts. Thanks, Kevin

Looks good although in real life, P&W takes pride on their paint scheme and will repaint all acquired locos before they go out on the road.
