A Little Thank-You To The Forum

Just a little thank you to the forum at large…

I found this place a few weeks back…I’ve been recovering from a knee injury, & subsequent surgery since the beginning of Nov. so I’ve had a lot of time to web-surf!
I’ve been into model railroading since 1992...but I periodically have times when modeling gets shoved to the back burner in favor of other things…that’s what’s been going on for the last year or so…
I usually need some big inspiration to get me back into it, & you guys have provided just that!
Now that my knee is healing,, & I’m somewhat mobile again, I’ve managed to spend a couple of relaxing evenings working on a trestle, & puttering around with a couple of other things on the layout!
Maybe I’ll stay at it (at least) long enough to get it up & running!

welcome to the site drew, Its my fav on the web. If Bob ever shuts it down I,m gonna be lost. Hope your knee heals quickly. Having a broken ankle a few years ago showed me that not being *mobile* wasnt any fun.

I don't know that I would have helped at all, but I do agree that this forum, overall, is a great place to be. Well managed, friendly, helpful, collegial.... It is good to read that it continues to serve others, even if it is just in the way of inspiration or offering hope.
