I have been on many forums of late that cover a WIDE variety of topics and subjects. From trains to firefighting and EMS to , yes, even Startrek. But I have to say that the people on THIS forum are the friendliest I have meet yet. Thak you.
 


DITTO! I have gotten a response to almost every question, and even baught some things since joining...two weeks ago!
 
That's why I made this one my 'home' forum when I joined over 3 years ago! People here have manners, unlike on some of the other places I visit.
 
I am happy to read of your compliment, and I return it to you with my thanks for being as good a forumite here as any other. :D

Indeed, this is a fine place to hang out, both for the quality of members and the quality of the information I've gotten. A tip of the hat to our moderators also. They are quick to give the bum's rush to anyone who wants to throw dirt all over the house. :)
 
I'd like to second this sentiment. I've been very active at the DCC4EVERYONE forum and was a little hesitant about starting posts on another one but since I joined last week, I have nothing but positive things to say about it and the people who participate.

I am a site moderator on a Harley Davidson forum and we have to lock down a few members a week for unruly comments and threats. We get all kinds of folks, some who get so wrapped up in their topics they try to arrange meets somewhere to settle the differences. This forum is a real relief, but then, I never heard of gangs of model railroaders terrorizing a town either.

Boy, that's kind of a scary thought...Hell's Angels that are also model railroaders. :eek: BTW, I actually got to arrest Sonny Barger for DUI long before the Feds got him for conspiracy. He was actually a pretty nice guy in person, at least to me.
