7.5 inch gauge electric locomotive build tips

So to start off, I'm relatively new to 7.5 inch railroading. I've known about them since I was little, but I'm wanting to start getting into the actual modeling of it.

What I want to do is build a fully electric locomotive, but I haven't got an idea of what I'll need or how to go about building it. My main questions are: what types of batteries should I use, how do I go about wiring it, including throttle, and where do I get the correct wheels to mount onto the loco?
